It is like what is penniless that is meaningless. Though it looks like very rich in spiritual knowledge but can not be understood, very rich in devotion but can not be practiced, very rich in love of God but can not be felt within heart. But if we can get new spiritual lesson by explaining same spiritual truth everyday then it is like new love of a longer married wife who appears in a new beauty everyday to her husband

What is meaningless that is useless? What is useless that is penniless? Then one can say, look these Krsna conscious people, they are penniless that’s why they are meaningless. Krsna is very rich in everything. Not only in spiritual knowledge but also in beauty, in love and devotion. Lord Krsna exhibits sixty four transcendental qualities that no other incarnation of Lord could exhibit so far. That’s why Krsna is not cheap. But if we distribute knowledge of Krsna free, people may ask why this is free? That’s why we charge for meeting and lecture. But if this meeting or lecture for Krsna’s devotees then we don’t charge. It is free for devotees but not for non devotees. Devotees love Krsna that’s why they come to temple to hear about Krsna’s pastimes and glories. But non devotees they don’t come to temple though they can come to five star hotels if there is very good meeting and lecture is arranged about Krsna. They always think about their material status that is also given by Krsna to compare Krsna. They always think if someone giving lecture in such and such hotel or auditorium then there must be very famous public faces. So we must attain even if some fees required we must pay. But if you arrange the same lecture on the public ground or street for free they will not attain because it looks like very ordinary gathering. In ordinary gathering ordinary people will come. Though Krsna is very ordinary to devotees but Krsna is extra ordinary to extraordinary people. That’s why when we exhibit our Krsna Consciousness teaching to extra ordinary people we must arrange it in extra ordinary places for which we must charge. Without this kind of extraordinary arrangement even this Krsna Consciousness knowledge richest in spiritual knowledge about love and devotion of God but it becomes like one ordinary old wife of very longly married husband. But when the same ordinary wife dresses herself with an extraordinary makeup still she looks like newly married bride ready to give her love and service. In that context one must remember Prabhupada’s quote: “If anybody calls for meeting and lecturing, we must charge. And if they want to hear free, they may come to our temple. Don't become cheap. My Guru Maharaja used to say: If somebody becomes cheap, then nobody hears him". That means become extraordinary for extraordinary people who come to attain meeting and lecture, though you can become ordinary and very humble among devotees. All glory to Radha Krsna!
