It is like leaves fall in the silent moment of its own destiny, like one eternal sleep transforms into sacred ash within the body of Lord protecting hundreds of ways

PURPORT:

Krsna is wish fulfilling tree throughout universe? Krsna is origin of soul? Then why so many souls are separated from Krsna’s spiritual world and living in this material world? The only answer is, one tree has leaves, branches, flowers, fruits, trunks, roots etc. Deepening on the position of soul where it is placed, the nature of soul to Krsna in relationship is different. Say for example leaves of a tree. These leaves of tree are very nice to look and source of food for the entire tree. In modern science it is discovered that it takes sunlight and juices from its branches supplied from roots, then prepares food for entire tree and supplies it back. It also generates oxygen that is the source of life for all living entities that helps to burn out food stuff. In night these same leaves also give up co2 generated from the body of tree. Though these leaves do so many wonderful services and only source of survival of the tree, but because of destiny in a nice spring day, when the weather is very very pleasant, it dried up and falls down from the branches of the tree. It is the ultimate destiny of every leaf that is attached to this wonderful tree. It is similar for the ordinary devotees also. If one becomes ordinary devotee and like to serve Krsna very sincerely, then one will become like a leaf. In Bhagavat Gita Krsna said that I accept even leaf that is given in devotion. Thus ordinary devotees has shelter and mercy of Krsna, will be liberated through His grace. But that is like one leaf. Becoming householder and individual devotee of Krsna, we may prepare wonderful Prasadan and serve to deity, we may come to temple and serve whole heartedly in every occasion and serve devotees and Krsna enjoying and loving etc. But still one ordinary devotee is only one leaf that is placed on Krsna’s tree. These leaves are many though in the same tree of Krsna but they are the source of cool breeze, food, shelter, beauty and so on. They all are in Krsna’s service. But they have their own destiny where Krsna becomes merely one spectator who watches them to fall in a very very pleasant day of spring but can not help to take them back immediately. They are the dried up leaves after to so many services to Krsna but ultimately separated because of destiny that is controlled by the nature of eternity. It is like one eternal sleep when the leaves become separated to make a good sleep after so many services to Krsna separately and Krsna allows them in a very pleasant day of spring. But then where their destiny takes them? Their destiny takes them to the Lord in the form of ash. Though they get birth in this material world but still they have a material body of their own eternal nature that is like one dry leaf. In this material world everything is dried up and there is no more juices of Krsna’s love. In such a destiny they are subject to burn within fire of materially contaminated world and ultimately will become ash when their body is burnt after death. Lord Himself comes here to help and save these separated souls becoming their sole protector who is Lord Shiva. Lord puts these ashes on His spiritual body and guides them back to the spirituality again after many many births and sufferings in this material world. Thus, though these leaves separated in a pleasant day of spring again the same destiny takes them back to the wish fulfilling tree of Lord Krsna happily in an autumn. Thus this is the natural process of ordinary soul who becomes separated from Krsna but again come back to home, back to Godhead by mercy of Krsna and Lord Shiva together. That’s why one Krsna Conscious soul must be very very grateful to Lord Shiva especially living in this material world. Until Lord puts the ashes of their dried up dead bodies on His spiritual body, that separated leaves can not reborn again on the tree of Krsna in an autumn. But again if the leaves can grow in to a branch or a trunk or a root, it is very hard to become separated from original tree of Krsna. It can even withstand big big storms. That’s why one wise Vaisnava will try to grow further and further while living in this material world. Become like one branch, become like one trunk, become like root etc. That will save you always, and then you must be living with Krsna always in His eternal tree without any fear of falling back to material world. In that context Prabhupada mentioned this quote “I have given the ideas. Now you give the shape”. You have to choose your own eternal shape as you like. The idea is here and it is already given. But it is up to individual devotee to choose whether they will become like one leaf or one branch or one trunk. All glory to Krsna! All glory to Prabhupada! All glory to Lord Shiva! All glory to Mohaprabhu! All glory to Nityananda Prabhu! All glory to Gadadhar Prabhu! All glory to Advaita Prabhu! All glory to Srivasa and associates devotees of Lord Gouranga! All glory to Narahari Narashima Dev! All glory to associates Vaisnavas! Hare Krsna! Haribol!
