In this material world of death, death is already certain. After death one listens Hari Nam. O, Sincere devotees of Lord, please chant always name of Hari in the form of Hare Krsna Hare Ram

PURPORT:

In this material world death is certain. Thus everybody have to die one day. But there are many ignorant souls those suffer through out their life but never chant name of Hari. But when they die then people carry them for cremation, then they listen name of Hari. Then they cry, what mistake they did through out their life. Why they never listen this nectar of Hari Nam earlier and chanted themselves to overcome all sufferings in this current hellish life. If would have they did it before they need not to come back in this hellish material world again. Thus they always cry in their hellish condition and take birth crying again in a very miserable form of life where only thing is suffering in the bondage of life. Thus, one wise devotee of Lord must chant name of Hari in the form of Hare Krsna mohamantra such that they can cross this ocean of sufferings immediately during their death. They need not to suffer again in this hellish form of life in this material world by getting mercy of Hari. In that context, one must remember a quote from Prabhupada "For me, either live or die, I don't mind. But if you are trying for my life, try it very seriously. That is my formula. No negligence". Prabhupada started distributing Hari Nam in a very old age and suffered three heart attacks. He was constantly praying to Lord and for His mercy such that He can cross comfortably this material world. Thus, He sincerely advised all devotees not to delay to chant and meditate with name of Hari. One must not suffer like Him before they actually know the nectar behind Hari Nam Sankirtan. One must start from very early age and start chanting name of Hari very sincerely such that they can get mercy of Lord Hari before they actually die. All glory to Prabhupada! All glory to Hari Nam!
