That what is unknown that is nectar. We pray for it. The lotus is surrounded by the flow of nectar. But the actual internal sport of Lord is the song of holy name of Lord that flows with time

PURPORT:

Renounce means giving up. What can we give up? That what we already have and useless that we can give up. But that what we don't have we can not give it up. That is what we don't have that is always unknown to all of us. That's why that is nectar. That is very sweet. The unknown is always sweet like nectar. If one has many marvelous airplanes that can be used then one may hesitate to give up few of them to other. But if these planes are not able to fly in air then one may completely give up thinking that these are useless. Similarly, when we renounce something we give up all unusable things of our past and we always look for the future that is unknown to us. Thus searching for the future useable is the ultimate goal of our renounce order of life. Many sages renounce everything in material nature only because they started searching nectar that is unknown future of the entire universe. Then they started praying by singing songs of Lord. Lord became very pleased and manifested Himself before them and told them the future of this universe. That is Lord's pastimes. That is written in Vedas and Puranas. Similarly the process of finding future is always existing and practiced by sages age after age. Unless this process is followed there is no other way that we can search and find nectar that is unknown. But those who already knower of future they are already in Lord's pastime. When this pastimes are manifesting as known then they are enjoying. Then they live in normal life within Lord's pastime until this future what they knew is completely manifested. If that is not manifesting properly as they realized then they again start the same process of searching it by offering prayer chanting name of Lord. That's why it is understood that the future of this entire universe is ultimately controlled by the sages. Time to time they practice the renounce order of life whenever they become unsure about the flow of nectar that is arriving from Lord's pastimes. The future that manifests on this material world can be compared with a lotus that blosoms in water. In the beginning the lotus is not visible. Then the sages start prayer and lotus becomes little visible like a bud. And again they begin their more prayer by renouncing everything material to see the complete manifestation of this lotus surrounded with the flow of nectar of glories of Lord's pastimes. Then Lord becomes very please and manifests Himself holding the lotus that blossomed completely on His hand finally. Ultimately becoming pleased with prayer Lord gives this lotus to this sages and disappears. Then sages hold this lotus for sometimes remaining in pastime of Lord and enjoy this manifestation. They make various kind of garlands and decorate Lord with that flower. Slowly this lotus becomes very very old and slowly disappears with current of time. Then again these sages start their prayer to see another manifestation in the form of another lotus. The same process goes again and again. Thus until this lotus is visible sages need to be engaged in prayer renouncing everything by signing holy name of Lord. Once this lotus is given by Lord sages start enjoying with it and give it to thier devotees. Devotees make garland and offer to sages and Lord by singing holy name of Lord. Sages holding these lotus enjoy the nectar of Lord's pastimes sourrounded by thier devotees. They enjoy Lord's pastimes together some more times until this lotus remains fresh and looking beautiful. Then again the same process starts for finding nectar that is Lord's another pastimes. In that context Prabhupada said "Renunciation is required, but when one makes further progress after renunciation towards spiritual life and enters into the Pastimes of Krishna, then things become perfect". Thus renounce until you find your lotus, once you got this enjoy remaining in Lord's pastimes. Then again renounce when this lotus is no more fresh or beautiful. All glory to Radha Krsna! All glory to Prabhupada! All glory to Mohaprabhu! All glory to Pancha Tattva! All glory to Narahari Narashima Dev! All glory to associates devotees and Vaisnavas! Hare Krsna! Haribol!
