Though the culture of living been changed from time to time but the subtle knowledge of cosmic form of soul is not changed that what mentioned in Vedas. That Vedas is only in form of holy name of Lord. That is the name of Hari which is the image of our soul
PURPORT:
Human culture always constantly changing from time to time with evolution and science. As we are growing in material knowledge our living in material comfort is changing day by day. In ancient age people are traveling on horse, elephant, horse cart, bull cart etc. But today man is flying in the air and even able to go to other planet with latest technology. As we adopt this material knowledge to the way of our living our social culture is changing constantly in its face. The culture of living in this age of Kali is culture of material face. As we grow in matter and using it in our material comfort more and more, our face is changing more towards complex composite material. But the nature of mater is not subtle cosmic form of soul. The nature of material enjoyment is always composite and that's why we are now most composite form of human face living on this planet. As we become more and more materially attached then we are having our material face more and more composite looking. In that case whatever we see as our own image that is only our composite material nature. We see the luster of body as material beauty. As we see more beautiful body we are more attached to it. That's why we are attached to bodily living that subject to birth and death in this material planet. But nature of soul is very subtle. It does not need any kind of vehicle to move. Soul itself becomes its own vehicle and can move to any place as it wishes. And that only possible if it is only subtle. That's why the real subtle cosmic nature of soul never never changes. It has intelligence that is non perishable. It has its own capability to enjoy that is full of joy. It has it own consciousness that is consciousness of Lord. And that is our real face. That is face of soul. But when ever we attached to material body we need one vehicle to carry that body. Similarly mirror is another material composite substance that shows us our own material image. If the material dust is accumulated on mirror, even though our face is very clean we can not see our real face. Similarly if the dust of material actions are deposited on our material mind that both are constituted out of composite matter like mirror, we can not see our image of soul from that mirror of mind. That's why we need to wipe out the mirror of mind with the liquid of Hari Nam by flowing our tear in spiritual ecstasy. Once this tear flows with name of Lord, then this mind gets cleaned. When this mind is completely cleaned then we can see the image of soul on the mirror of mind. As we chant name of Hari with Hare Krsna mohamantra so we can see the image of Hari on the mirror of mind that getting cleaned day by day. In that context Prabhupada said "On the mirror if there is dust, you cannot see your face very nicely. If you wipe the mirror very nicely... So this Hare Krishna chanting is the process of wiping out the dust accumulated on the mirror of my mind". All glory to Hari! All glory to Radha Krsna! All glory to Prabhupada!
