Supreme Lord Hari is unmanifested one and above devotion
Aajana Samvitam Hari
Nitya Siddha Nitya Jannan
Bhakti Bakya Visesagnya
Sarva Shudhya Hari Nam
The supreme consciousness that is unmanifested one is known as Hari. He is eternally existing free and full of knowledge. He is above of devotion, admiration and eternally pure that is name of Lord Hari
PURPORT:
The supreme eternal consciousness is unmanifested one. This unmanifested one is known as Hari. In Bhagavat Gita, Lord Krsna confirmed that the manifested universe is only one fourth and remaining is unmanifested one. Thus Lord Hari is unmanifested supreme self who is eternally free and embodiment of supreme purity, beyond of knowledge and imagination. Thus, whatever manifestations took place in this material world are always less than Lord Hari Himself. That's why it is always said that name of Hari is greater than Hari Himself that who is manifested in this universe is known. Even Lord is above devotion, simply because one can understand Lord only through the manifested universe and knowledge of manifested universe. Even though Lord manifests one of His pastime in front of one supreme devotee for first time then this manifestation is also counted as manifested one. For example, when Lord Narashima Dev manifested Himself from the pillar for Prallad Moharaj for first time in the palace, then this manifestation is knwon to everyone and counted as manifested one. Similarly, according to Bhagavat Gita, the manifestations of Lord's pastimes in this universe are only one fourth. Thus, three fourth pastimes of Lord are never manifested to anyone, even not to any closest devotees who are known. Thus, the conclusion is that Lord is even above devotion and also His devotees. Lord is eternally pure and full of knowledge about Himself. But whatever can be achieved through devotion to supreme Lord Hari, that will be manifested is always less than Lord Hari Himself. That's why one perfect devotee always wants to reamin as devotee of Supreme Lord Hari to see all other unmanifested manifestations of Lord by grace of Hari. All glory to Lord Hari! All glory to devotees of supreme Lord Hari! Hare Krsna! Haribol!
