It is similar like Lord remains invisible while accepting food stuff offered to Him, one can feel love of Vrindavan though Lord of all Gopies (Krsna) is remain invisible

PURPORT:

Every year all devotees of Lord celebrates many festivals through out universe to enjoy Lord's pastimes. In this current month of Vadra there are many festivals like Jhulan, Balaram's appearance day, Krsna Janmastami etc. Many devotees through out universe in material and spiritual world celebrates these festivals with highest devotion and love. They offer various types of food stuffs remembering Lord and His pastimes. Though Lord remains invisible but Lord accepts those love and devotion along with food stuff offered. Similarly Lord of Vrindavan Krsna, Balaram, goddess Vrinda, Radharani and asta Shakis including mother Yosoda and Nanda Moharaj offers their unconditional love towards heart of devotees. That love is expressed within heart of devotees in various devotional services offered to Lord. As much as this love is poured on the heart of devotees, devotees feel ecstatic love and attraction towards Lord Hari. This kind of unconditional and invisible loving relationship is only possible between devotees and Lord. Without being devotees of Lord Krsna, such ecstatic love not possible to taste in human form of life. Thus one invisible relationship that is real and remain visible within every action of devotees in the form chanting Hari Nam , worshipping Lord Krsna with complete surrender and by offering various food stuffs and honering prasadam etc. Those who can not feel this love they are certainly unfortunate one and must try to get mercy of supreme Lord Hari by placing Him on their heart.
