War of Mohabharata is war of Dharma

Those who are blind they are always under control of servant. Then one behaves with the wishes of his servants with complete devotion. It also the priest who looking all welfare of subject is very old and unable to take spiritual burden and that’s why Krsihna (Drupadi) is finally dependent on mercy of supreme Lord Hari

PURPORT:

Who wants to be controlled by servant? Those who are blind like Dritarastra. A blind person is always under control of servant. Whatever servants want to do with him, he always takes their mercy with complete devotion. To that blind their male and female servants are like supreme Lord and the blind himself is devotee of them. In that condition one must seek spiritual welfare with guidance of spiritual master or priest. But if the priest who is looking after all spiritual welfare is also very old and can not take all spiritual burdens of his subject with proper spiritual wisdom then there is no welfare left for that blind person. In that situation though Krishna had five strongest husbands but it is no use to her. She has no other way to protect her purity but needs help from supreme Lord Hari. In that context, the war of Mahabharata had begun. Did anybody heard that due to material burden war of Mahabharata taken place? The war was because of blindness to the rule of Dharma and protecting its purity. As long as Dharma exits with its purity and spiritual glory such war like Mahabharata will not take place. But when everybody remains blind to the rule of Dharma, then even one has five mighty husbands like Pandavas but unable to protect the purity of their consort who is Krishna. Then there is no other way left but seeking mercy of supreme Lord Hari. In such condition, Lord Hari will become supreme protector of Krishna to protect her purity like He did in Mahabharata. And that is the rule of Dharma. In that context, one must read Prabhupad’s quote which said “The more people will be materialistic becoming blind to rule of Dharma, the world will be burdened. Therefore there must be war, pestilence, famine, to clear these rascals, clear out”. All glory to Hari! All glory to Prabhupada! All glory to Narahari Narashima Dev! All glory to Mohaprabhu! All glory to Pancha Tattva! All glory to associates Vaisnavas! Hare Krsna! Haribol!
