Through ignorance we develop attraction towards the material existence of this universe and think material enjoyment is only goal of our life. Actually devotion to the Supreme Lord Hari, the Lord of this material opulence should be our ultimate goal to enjoy the supreme beauty of Lord.
PURPORT:
In this material world all living entities are attracted towards the material existence since they accept their material bodies. This material attraction sometimes appears as love towards the material existence and they started believing that this material world is only beautiful in the universe. Thus they must be loving this material existence always aspiring for it in their mind thinking "Money is Honey". Lord's consort Kamala represents this material beauty of Lord and commands this material existence to fulfill the desire of all material lives. But in true knowledge, these material existence is only one fourth compare to the whole universe. Even if we look at this planet earth, where we currently living, we can see only one fourth of this earth is livable having material life and three fourth of this earth is filled with water where human can not live. Why Lord has given only one fourth of this planet for material opulence to grow? Why three fourth of this planet can not even grow materially like the rest? The simple answer is, one fourth of this material existence sufficient for human life to exist, survive and realize Lord, three fourth of its opulence exists with the command of Lord that is not available to this material world. In the similar context, whatever way we try to enjoy the entire opulence of universe, only one fourth will be available to material existence but rest is preserved under command of Lord for His devotees. In similar context, HH Bhakti Raghava Swami mentioned in one of His recent article, "Within the system of varnasrama, three-fourth of the population does not earn money, namely the brahmacaris, those in the vanaprastha and those in the sannyasa asrama. Grhasthas, in particular the ksatriya householders and the vaisya householders, assisted by the sudra householders, are meant to support the rest of society". This is the Vedic civilization which is very natural process. Even the whole creation of Lord Hari, this material world supports this ancient wisdom. That only one fourth of the material opulence is available for material life and three fourth of its opulence is preserved for the devotees of Lord which is un manifested and not available for material pursuit. What ever way we try to violate this natural rule, or try to engage entire population of this earth for material pursuit, we will always fail to achieve this goal simply because it violates the rule of creation of this material world and hence we are doomed to fail. At any given time, three fourth population will live always in the mercy of Lord and they will always fulfill Lord's desire such that this material world never devoid with virtue (Dharma ) and keep engaging in service of Lord and to His devotees. If we try to violate this rule, we will end up with the illusionary existence of material wealth in tight control of illusionary power of Lord that is His Maya. Thus, our real wisdom is, we must not pursuit for the non existence of material opulence beyond 25% as per Vedic Law. Otherwise, that will lead us to the digital illusion of material wealth that will finally become only few digital number in bank account with non existence of actual wealth. It may vanish at any point of time by will of Lord with the dynamic nature of the financial market and ends up with nothing after spending entire life in pursuit of material opulence. This material opulence is limited to only 25% of Lord's opulence compare to His whole spiritual opulence that exists in the spiritual world and preserved for His devotees to enjoy.
