One who is knower of eternal rules and can make decision with courage using the power of scriptures (Shastras) to them victory and devotion both are bestowed. Similarly when this eternal knowledge becomes the inner quality or glory of a person then one becomes free and enjoys eternal peace without suffering from material influences

PURPORT:

In this material world everyone wants victory. Victory is the quality of Khatrias. If a Khatriya cannot become victorious, then he should not be accepted as Khatriya. That is the rule of becoming Khatriya. But the question is victory against what? A Khatriya must be knower of eternal rules and principles that is Sastras and must be victorious to protect these eternal principles against its fallible condition. So Khatriya must become victorious against the fallible condition of eternal principles of Sastras. Since eternal rules are established by Lord Krsna while creating this entire universe, thus eternal rules cannot be defeated. That is the bottom line in the scripture. Since eternal rules cannot be defeated, thus a Khatriya must achieve victory. If we are not getting victory, means we are not adhere to the eternal principles of the universe and thus we are getting defeated in our everyday life. In that sense, a Khatriya must always be courageous by knowing eternal rules of the universe through Sastras (Vedic Literatures) and must be courageous to protect these eternal rules. As long as a Khatriya is adhere to his own Dharma, a Khatriya cannot be defeated. To prove this concept, Lord Krsna explained all eternal rules to Arjuna at the begining of the war who was His pure devotee. Once Arjuna understood these eternal rules, He became courageous and got the victory in the battle field of Kurukhestra. Thus a Khatriya, when can achive this absolute courage to protect and follow eternal rules, victory and devotion both are bestowed to him. Similarly, by knowing all eternal rules cannot make one victorious, that makes one to be knowledgeable or Janni. But one Janni cannot become Guni, until this eternal knowledge can become one’s inner quality. Thus, though there are many Jannis in this material world currently but there is very rare Guni. In our current time, Mohaprabhu or Prabhupada can be called as Guni, simply because they became victorious not only knowing these eternal principles but also protecting these eternal principles from fallible condition with courage. Thus our duty is not to become only Janni but also to become courageous to protect these eternal principles Dharma from any fallible condition and then only we will be victorious, will be called Guni. Thus if we want to be true Khatriya, we must take birth from the body of Lord Vishnu (by becoming Vaisnava) and become courageous to protect eternal principles of the entire universe. All glories to Lord Vishnu! All glories to Lord Hari! All glories to Prabhupada! All glories to Narada Muni! All glories to Lord Krsna! All glories to Radha Madhava! All glories to Lord Vishnu!
