The real meaning is achieving pure spiritual consciousness by realizing supreme Lord through devotion that only brings happiness by serving one's own spiritual master. Your knowledge will show the path to other, thus devotion to spiritual master will prevail era after era
PURPORT:
If one realizes Krsna through devotional services towards the supreme Lord, whether that person becomes Brahman or Sudra? This is the real spiritual question? The natural answer is , when one becomes Krsna Conscious, then one already achieved the knowledge of supreme Brahman, so the person becomes Brahman. But if the person was previously Sudra, then how this person can be changed to Brahman when the soul is same which was previous within that living entity. Since the soul is eternal entity, part and parcel of Krsna then how it is changed from Sudra to Brahman? The answer to this question is, an example given by Prabhupada. If you heat a cold iron, after sometime, the iron becomes hot and become same as fire. Though the iron is same but the external appearance and intrinsic behavior of the same iron is changed because of the association of fire. Thus Krsna Consciousness is nothing but fire. Though the constituent pure matter which is our soul remain unchanged, like the same iron before or after heating but the potencies of these iron got changed due to heat. Previously it was cold and everybody can touch and feel but now nobody wants to touch the same iron when it changed to fire. Pure devotion is the source that energizes each particle of our soul which is similar like cold iron. It automatically becomes hot when we whole heartedly adore the fire of teaching of pure krsna conscious spiritual master. It can not remain cold when the iron is already in the fire. Thus it proves that the fire which was created by Prabhupada through yagna can burn our soul through the fire of Krsna Consciousness, then there is no chance that any disciple to the succession of this great spiritual master can remain cold through out the life. That must be changed with association of pure devotees downwards from Prabhupada through the disciple succession by serving one's own spiritual master.
