Though eight limbs are very small compare to the whole body but above all it is devotion to me that my devotees are my spiritual self

PURPORT:

It is known that the body is consists of eight limbs. Each limb is smaller than the body itself but the whole body is the spiritual self. So what is the spiritual self of Mayapur? It is the spiritual devotional body of Lord. That's the primary goal of this spiritual capitol to attracting pure devotees of Lord towards the devotional spiritual body of Mayapur. Prabhupada asked His dearest devotees to take picture of the USA Capitol. It is symbolic. Actually He asked to take picture of the spiritual capitol through His spiritual vision. In this material world, USA Capitol is the power house. Though ordinary people can look at this great structure and take as many pictures as they want but can not go inside. But the people who are extra ordinary with material power and influence can visit inside and can even take picture from inside. But this is solely possession of material power for materially contaminated people. Where as Mayapur Spiritual Capitol is for spiritual world. Here the only criteria to visit from in and out, is pure devotion. Here devotees must come to visit Lord. They will come not with their material equipment like camera but they will come here with pure heart filled with devotion. They will take the picture of the spiritual devotional body of Lord within their spiritual camera that is within thier soul. This picture is permanent because that will install Lord within the heart of devotees. That's why it is important that one must learn to draw spiritual picture within heart for this great spiritual capitol even long before coming to Mayapur and visiting this Planetarium. One must not come here only to take picture like one seven wonders of this material world to put it on their album with many others that may not be looked again for entire life. But one must visit to enjoy the devotional nectar by chanting and listening Hari Nam with pure devotees. One must have desire to get mercy of Lord through His services. In that sense creating one great structure of historical importance will merely attract ordinary people to this great spiritual capitol without any spiritual merit. Rather it will be wise decision to construct a great temple where performing devotional activities are the ultimate goal rather than taking simple photographs. All glory to Prabhupada!
